Training

Trainings We Provide

We can readily present on many aspects of the school-to-prison pipeline issue.
  • This presentation requires at least an hour and access to a projector.
  • We have and can continue to modify this presentation to your audience and needs. Examples of variations include how this issue specifically affects people in the LGBTQ community, how sexual trauma plays a role, and the need for restorative justice.
We can present on the rights of students and parents in the school disciplinary process and how to advocate for themselves.
  • This presentation requires at least an hour and access to a projector.
We can present on implicit bias vs. explicit bias and how this affects decision making and equity.
  • Access to a projector strongly preferred.
We can provide a training or two day workshop on what restorative practices mean, what they can look like in your workplace, and practice engaging in team building circles.
  • Access to a projector is helpful but non necessary.
We can provide a talk on why self-care is important and what that can look like for people who work in social justice fields.
We can present on family preparation plans for undocumented and mixed status families along with the meaning of recent executive orders.
  • Access to a projector is mandatory.
We are working on a presentation on what to do when your student faces race based harassment in the school.
  • Please contact us if you are interested in this presentation!
